The Orthodox Union has settled on its top executives following the death of its executive vice president Rabbi Moshe Hauer. Succeeding Hauer in the EVP position is Rabbi Shmuel Silber of Baltimore. Meanwhile Rabbi Dr Josh Joseph has been elevated from the executive vice president and chief operations officer to chief executive officer. Rabbis Silber and Joseph will both report directly to the OU Executive Committee.
