Myanmar Junta Drone Attack Kills Two Civilians at Karenni Displacement Camp

A Myanmar military suicide drone attack on a camp for internally displaced persons (IDPs) in eastern Loikaw Township, Karenni (Kayah) State, killed two civilians and injured two others on August 11, according to local aid workers. The evening attack involved a suicide drone carrying three drop bombs that struck the camp, killing one man and one woman. The strike also ignited a fire that destroyed one displacement shelter.
