Mixed race children in Irish institutions “had their childhood stolen," UN experts say

Mixed race people "had their childhood stolen because of the racial discrimination and systemic racism that prevailed in the [Irish] childcare institutions at the time," a panel of UN human rights experts said while expressing concern about the lack of adequate redress.
