Maynard and Stow church briefs, Aug. 5-11

On Sunday, Aug. 8, at 10 a.m., First Parish Church of Stow & Acton, Unitarian Universalist, will offer a virtual service titled “Living and Leaving Your Legacy.” Four FPC members will share their stories of striving to live lives of meaning as well as ideas for creating meaningful legacies after their lifetimes. Led by John Kendrick, a lifetime UU, a retired planned giving specialist, and a new member of the FPC community, the panel will address Mary Oliver’s question from her poem “The Summer Day”: “Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?”
