Maryland Green Party candidate isn’t looking to win over a majority of voters — he just wants 1%

The June primary election solidified Maryland’s 2028 gubernatorial election as a rematch between Democratic incumbent Gov. Wes Moore and Republican Dan Cox, but there is at least one new name on the ballot, and he’s not necessarily in it to win it. Green Party candidate Andy Ellis isn’t looking for a majority of the vote, he’s looking for 1%.
