Macau, Hengqin create fast-track channel for innovative TCM

Under a new cross-border cooperation agreement, Macau and Hengqin pharmaceutical regulators have created a coordinated channel to help modern traditional Chinese medicines developed in Hengqin secure registration and enter the Macau market. The Pharmaceutical Administration Bureau of Macau (ISAF) and the Commercial Affairs Bureau of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin signed the memorandum on Monday, with ISAF president Choi Peng Cheong and Zhang Wenji, director of Hengqin’s Commercial Affairs Bureau, signing on behalf of the two sides.
