Lithuania’s 600-year-old Muslim village – Shafaqna English

SHAFAQNA – Islam today | by Tharik Hussain*: I am in a tiny little village called Keturiasdesimt Totoriu, about twenty minutes drive south-west of Lithuania’s capital city, Vilnius, surrounded by woodland. Beneath some of the trees, domesticated chickens peck away, hemmed in by a wire fence. A dog barks somewhere, but otherwise, the only sound is the rustling of the wind in the tall silver birches.
