Letters for Feb. 2: Dangerous buildings, impeachment and more

In the city of Springfield website under the heading "Dangerous Buildings," approximately 115 buildings were listed as of Dec. 31, 2019. There are certainly many more not on that list. Fifteen of these buildings are within an easy walk from my home. A separate section in the city website lists tall grass and trash violations, most of which occurred in Zone 1, within which I dwell. I don't want to move; I want the city to take responsibility in enforcement of existing regulations, to add new regulations, and to greatly improve inspections.
