Assam Forest Minister Jayanta Mallabaruah held a review meeting with tourism stakeholders at Kaziranga National Park to discuss preparations for the upcoming wildlife tourism season. He requested written suggestions within 10 days to formulate a comprehensive roadmap for conservation and sustainable tourism. The Minister emphasized improving visitor facilities, protecting forest areas from encroachment, and enhancing coordination between departments. He also highlighted the introduction of an online transit permit system to improve transparency and revenue collection.
