Kazakhstan holds first Parliamentary elections under new Constitution

Kazakhstan on Sunday voted in its first elections for the 145-member Kurultai, the countrys new unicameral Parliament created under a Constitution that took effect on July 1. Voters chose from seven registered party lists in a single nationwide constituency.
