Jury to decide if Birmingham man will get death penalty for brutal 2022 murder

The jury heard from several of Gemeinhart’s family members and friends as they remembered who he was to them and his community. They also heard from the family of Youit Jones, who asked the jury to spare Jones’ life by sentencing him to life in prison without parole.
