Junkers - The Forgotten World’s First All-Metal Aircraft Developer

Founded by Hugo Junkers in 1895, Junkers Aircraft and Motor Works pioneered all-metal aircraft with the Junkers J 1 and later built the world's first all-metal commercial airliner, the F 13. The company went on to produce iconic aircraft including the Ju 52, Ju 87 Stuka, and Ju 88, helping redefine military and civil aviation. After WWII, Junkers survived through mergers before its name disappeared into MBB in 1969, leaving behind one of the most influential legacies in aviation history.
