A large-scale investigation is still underway in Poland into how the possible misuse of a European tariff exemption for Ukrainian grain led to farmer protests and losses amounting to hundreds of millions. In turn, Lithuanian agricultural representatives have stated that they see signs of potential deception of Polish farmers and a sluggish response from the European Union (EU).
