Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi arrived in New York on Monday for the 81st UN General Assembly, state-run IRNA reported. President Masoud Pezeshkian is due Tuesday and is expected to address the UNGA on Wednesday. Tehran said some delegation members were denied US visas. The visit comes amid tensions with Washington and US sanctions threats targeting services to Iranian airlines.
