Inwit profit down 11% in Q1, to sign Vodafone merger deal this summer

Telecom Italia's tower unit Infrastrutture Wireless Italiane (Inwit) reported revenues of EUR 94.9 million in the first three months of 2019, down 0.6 percent on the year-earlier result, while net profit for the period came in 11.0 percent lower at EUR 32.3 million, attributed to a one-off charge of EUR 3.9 million booked in the first quarter of 2018.
