INTERVIEW: COP17: Cross River lawmaker calls for stronger laws to protect Nigeria’s land, wildlife

A member of the Cross River State House of Assembly, Martins Archadu, says his participation at the ongoing 17th session of the UNCCD COP17 in Mongolia has exposed gaps in Nigeria’s environmental policies and shown how stronger legislation could improve land restoration, biodiversity conservation and environmental management.
