Indian refiners brace for pricier crude after September as Russia sanctions loom

Concerns follow the US Senate’s passage of the Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act of 2026, to be taken up in the House of Representatives next month. The Act allows the US president to impose tariffs up to 100% on countries that are among the top five importers of Russian oil and gas.
