Indian & Nepali Teams Continue Rescue Operation For 6 Workers Trapped In Nepal Hydropower Tunnel

Rescue operations are continuing at Nepal’s Chilime hydropower project, where six workers are believed to be trapped inside a tunnel after flood damage. Indian and Nepali teams are clearing mud and debris using heavy machinery and have advanced about 70 metres. Authorities are working to reach the underground powerhouse area where the workers are believed to be trapped.
