Indian, Italian firms to set up joint venture in T.N. defence corridor

Merlinhawk Aerospace Pvt. Ltd. and Italy's Vega Composites S.r.l. signed a JV to establish a facility in Tamil Nadu for advanced composites products. The new entity, Merlinhawk Composites & Engineering Pvt. Ltd., will target aerospace, marine, land, railway, and hydrogen storage/fuel cell markets. It is the first such agreement post the India-Italy defence cooperation agreement. The JV will transfer tech knowhow to India, offering cutting-edge solutions to end-users in India and the region. Roberto Lapini, CEO of Pasquali Group, expressed satisfaction.
