India, Japan launch CBG initiative, deepen energy partnership through POWERR Asia cooperation

India and Japan on Thursday agreed to strengthen energy security cooperation through regional initiatives, including Japan's Partnership on Wide Energy and Resources Resilience (POWERR Asia), while launching the India-Japan Cooperative Biogas for Growth (CBG) Initiative to expand biogas production and advance clean energy collaboration.
