RAMONA, CA - The professional audio community mourns the loss of industry veteran Larry Italia, who passed away peacefully on August 13, 2026. He was 70. A talented musician and innovative business leader, Italia enjoyed a long and distinguished career in pro audio, spanning more than four decades, working at Yamaha Pro Audio, Sound Image and most recently, at d&b audiotechnik.
