In Japan, father’s postcards from World War II front line still important for now 88-year-old daughter

Yukiko Takano's father, Kingoro, sent his family at least 40 postcards through the military mail service. He never got to be reunited with his family. After the war, Ms Takano and her family members grew rice, wheat, and other crops in their fields to get through those difficult times.
