Ignalina NNP looking for contractors to find and assess potential DGR sites

With Lithuania planning to build, in the second half of this century, a deep geological repository (DGP) for the burial of radioactive waste of the country’s Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant (INPP), which was shut down a decade ago and is now being decommissioned, the INPP has opened search for contractors that will find and assess potential sites for such a repository, informs LETA/BNS.
