IFJ Gender Council calls on media to adopt strict policies to fight sexism at work / IFJ

A number of sexist attacks perpetrated against women journalists across the world have been reported to the International Federation of Journalists’ (IFJ) Gender Council. The Council calls on media houses and governments to work harder to ensure the safety of women journalists, and to defend the vital voice of women journalists in conveying news of public interest.
