Ho Chi Minh City tightens tourism management amid growing scams, visitor solicitation

Ho Chi Minh City is stepping up tourism management and visitor protection as aggressive solicitation, price gouging and increasingly sophisticated online scams involving tour and hotel bookings continue to affect tourists, with the municipal Department of Tourism and police signing a coordination agreement for 2026-31.
