Health minister declines to intervene in Civic site selection

Nepean-Carleton MPP Lisa MacLeod has asked Ontario’s minister of health to intervene in the selection of a new site for the Civic hospital and place it on the Central Experimental Farm. In the Ontario Legislature on Monday, MacLeod asked Health Minister Eric Hoskins to “be on the side of Ottawa patients” and intervene to put the new Civic where hospital officials want it, on the farm, rather than at Tunney’s Pasture.
