Hawaiʻi County reaches agreement with landowner to prevent eminent domain for widening of a Puna road

The Hawaiʻi County Council was going to vote Wednesday on whether to authorize condemnation of 3.74 acres of land to make Government Beach Road safer, but was asked to postpone the decision to allow for the agreement to be finalized with Lum Family Enterprises.
