Greece starts enforcing asylum suspension law, detains over 200 migrants arriving from Libya

Greek authorities have announced the detention of over 200 migrants who arrived after the government’s decision to suspend asylum applications for arrivals from North Africa. According to Migration Minister Thanos Plevris on Saturday, “The Coast Guard has detained the illegal migrants who entered from Libya in recent hours.”
