Granger Homestead to offer summer concert series

CANANDAIGUA — Last year the Granger Homestead and Carriage Museum sought to find a way to draw people back to the historic site while ensuring health and safety protocols remained in place. With most of Granger's usual events either canceled or rescheduled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they chose to offer an outdoor concert in late September in conjunction with the Fort Hill Performing Arts Center. While the event wasn't very successful, with both nonprofits receiving minimal donations from the Picnic on the Lawn event, it nevertheless got board members thinking about the viability of more regular concerts outside.
