Gillibrand bill would repeal and refund tariffs imposed on Canada

U.S. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand plans to introduce legislation that would repeal tariffs imposed under Section 338 of the Tariff Act and refund duties collected under that authority. The New York Democrat announced the BAD DEAL Act with Sen. Peter Welch of Vermont and Rep. Brad Schneider of Illinois after President Donald Trump announced 50% tariffs on Canada.
