Gauteng learners get free tablets

Johannesburg-Gauteng Education MEC Panyaza Lesufi has announced that as from next week, all the 2016 Grade 12 learners in Gauteng schools will receive their educational tablets. “In Gauteng, if you want to see a chalk or a duster you must go to a museum, you must not go into our classrooms,” said MEC Lefusi. He said all Grade 12 learners will as from Monday get free, unlimited data every day from 5am to 9pm.
