Full circle: Fort Hood welcomes new command sergeant major back to his Army hometown

III Corps and Fort Hood welcomed Command Sergeant Major James Light as their new corps sergeant major Thursday in a change of command ceremony marked by cannon fire on post. Light, a tanker by trade, takes over from Command Sergeant Major John McDwyer, who is retiring after 38 years of service.
