France Shows Concern over Course of Events in Iran

Dozens of protesters have gathered at the place du Trocadero in Paris in a show of support for French nationals detained in Iran. The detainees have been described as “hostages” by the French government, which confirmed that seven French nationals were being held in Iranian prisons such as Tehran’s notorious Evin prison. The demonstration gathering came at the invitation of the families of the hostages and the committees supporting them.
