Fox Point market owner is feted by the Portuguese community for his 101st birthday

PROVIDENCE — Manuel Pedroso was in the business of selling Portuguese products for almost 70 years out of Friends Market on Brook Street when the coronavirus forced its closure and put Pedroso, then 100 years old, out of work.
