Forthcoming Book / Discussion: “En Pointe, Off Kilter” – Repeating Islands

Thomas Glave’s En Pointe, Off Kilter (Jacaranda, March 2027) gathers essays on race and racism, Jamaica and Jamaican queer realities and recent history, British colonialism, trans-Atlantic slavery, writing and activism, dance, and more. The author will discuss some of the themes he addresses in the forthcoming book at the Birmingham Literature Festival (BLF), which runs from October 8 through 12, 2026 (plus Readers’ Day on October 24).
