Former Zimbabwe VP Mphoko Flees Anti-Corruption Probe

Former vice president Phelekezela Mphoko's escape follows attempts by the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission to drag Mphoko to court for alleged abuse of office during the time when he and current President Emmerson Mnangagwa were the country's co-vice presidents, serving under former president Robert Mugabe. The anti-graft body is on an anti-corruption blitz that has seen the arrest of two senior government officials including a minister.
