First-time asylum applications stabilised in November 2022

In November 2022, 99 200 first-time asylum applicants (non-EU citizens) applied for international protection in the EU Member States, approximately as many as in October (99 340). In November 2022, there were 6 225 subsequent applicants, a 2% decrease compared with October 2022. This information comes from monthly asylum data published by Eurostat today.
