Ex-IG, Mike Okiro’s bombshell: How FG’s error birthed Boko Haram

Former Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Sir Mike Mbama Okiro, who served between June 1, 2007 and July 24, 2009, has noted that the activities of the Boko Haram insurgency could have been nipped in the bud if the federal authorities had not taken action against some of the policies he emplaced while he served as police boss in the country.
