Euskaltel 9-mth sales up 17% to EUR 521 mln, profit jumps 41%

Spanish regional operator Euskaltel reported revenues of EUR 521.1 million in the first 9 months of 2018, up 17 percent on the year-earlier result, with net profit rising 41 percent to EUR 46.4 million. Adjusted EBTIDA was up 15 percent year on year to EUR 252.9 million, with a 48.5 percent revenue margin. The company said total revenue-generating units (RGUs) at its Euskaltel, Telecable and R brands were up 39,000 to 2.36 million on 30 September, while ARPU dipped 1 percent to EUR 60.1.
