Escaped prisoner convicted of assaulting his Amsterdam social worker, threatening doctor

The 33-year-old man who escaped from a psychiatric prison in Groningen last week was convicted in 2020 of assaulting and threatening his doctor and social worker. The attacks happened in 2015, but Mouloud M. could only be tried in 2020 because he was in custody in Germany before that. The reason for his detention there is unknown, AD reports.
