Edward Bowen at the Grenada Pavilion, 2026 Biennale di Venezia – Repeating Islands

We had prepared a version of this post back in March 2025, when we were sharing news on Caribbean artists participating in the 2026 Biennale di Venezia (and—oops—left it unpublished). Thanks to Susan Mains, commissioner of the Grenada Pavilion, we were able to expand that previous post, La Biennale di Venezia 2026 & Representation from the Caribbean Region, to add that the pavilion— showing work by Edward Bowen, Arthur Daniel, Josine Dupont, Alexandra Kordas, Lilo Nido and Chris Mast, The Holzwege Group, and Russel Watson— was titled “The Poetics of Correspondence” and centered on “a reflective mode of cross-cultural dialogue.” The Biennale…
