Our region is blessed with an abundance of bazaars, festivals, fairs and other events that celebrate a specific food, place, heritage, ethnicity or characteristic distinct to the location. Some are old enough to be rightly called venerable, a few even carry on traditions brought to our area from across oceans a century or more ago.
