Dutch minister's trip to Israel scrapped in wake of ICC warrants

Next week’s visit to Israel and the Middle East by foreign affairs minister Caspar Veldkamp has been cancelled in the wake of the ICC’s decision to issue an arrest warrant for Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Veldkamp told parliament on Thursday the Netherlands would arrest Netanyahu if he set foot on Dutch soil, in line with the ICC’s position.
