DSWD Academy, UNICEF-PH, Miriam College in talks to strengthen child protection for social workers , Punto! Central Luzon

QUEZON CITY — The Department of Social Welfare and Development Academy, United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Philippines, and Miriam College-Child Rights Advocacy Center held a focus group discussion (FGD) last Aug. 17 at Novotel Manila as part of Phase 2 of the project to strengthen the competencies of social workers in child protection. It aims to develop better training modules, assessment tools, and pilot plans based on the real experiences of practitioners.
