Deported Raleigh resident returns to the U.S. and is currently detained in Texas

The Department of Homeland Security has escorted Jose Eliezer Martinez-Andino, a young Honduran man who was living in Raleigh and was deported last spring, back to the U.S., in response to a federal judge's order in late June. However, he did not fly back to North Carolina — DHS officials took Martinez-Andino to Texas, where he is currently detained.
