Defend democracy! Defend the US left, labour movement and minorities!

Edited Wednesday 6 November With most of the results in it looks like Trump has retaken the US Presidency. Although less likely than if he had lost, Trump may call people on to the streets to demonstrate for him. Other immediate and dangerous measures — some taken as revenge on his enemies — will follow. That is why the US labour movement must organise to protect itself and help to defend Black and migrant communities. Despite the dangers, democrats must come out onto America’s streets to stand up for democracy.
