Death In A Bottle: MP’s Sagar Hooch Tragedy Exposes UP Link; Fake Labels, Holograms & QR Codes Allegedly Fooled Buyers

Preliminary investigation into the Sagar hooch tragedy has pointed to an alleged supply link with Uttar Pradesh. Police suspect a Lalitpur-based couple supplied spurious liquor disguised with fake labels, lids, holograms and QR codes. The tragedy has also revived questions over lessons learnt from the deadly Ujjain and Morena hooch incidents.
