Court tells the Crown it must protect the rest of an ancient canoe buried in Chatham Islands dunes

A Maori Land Court judge has ruled the Crown's duty to protect a 1400s ocean going canoe found on the Chatham Islands covers the 90 percent still buried in the dunes, not just the pieces dug up.
