Conversion therapy: £71,000 helpline had four calls

The Scottish government paid almost £72,000 of taxpayer money last year on a conversion therapy helpline that only received four calls over three months, official data has shown.According to a Freedom of Information request made by The Christian Institute, the government paid £71,996 to LGBT Health and Wellbeing in 2025, to fund the helpline.
