Concerns raised about ICE operations’ impact on Northwest Arkansas businesses

Irma Chavez, the founder and executive director of the Arkansas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, has no doubts about the impact of nationwide enhanced immigration enforcement on Northwest Arkansas businesses. While bigger businesses can protect themselves from the immigration enforcement campaign's impact, small and family-owned businesses cannot, Chavez said.
